Omega 3 Fish Oil

Omega 3 Fish Oils

Omega 3 fish oils are a source of essential fatty acids, which are a necessary element for your good health!

Healthy Supplements

Omega 3 fish oils are in the news quite a bit these days. If it's not for lowering cholesterol, it's for providing relief to sufferers of depression who had previously found no relief. The ability of Omega 3s lies in DHA and EPA, two elements that work to supply the body's cells with the nutrition they need to function at their highest potential.

When brain cells receive the nutrition they need, memory and focus can sharpen; when hair and skin cells are provided with the nutrition they need, dryness and brittleness become a thing of the past. Only when the body's cells are provided with the right nutrition can they accomplish their intended purpose with efficiency.

Keeping a Balance

For the most part, the body is a compilation of complex systems that must work in balance with each other. Too much or too little of any one thing can cause distinctive health problems for an individual.

The most common misconception is that fats and oils are bad for the body and that they should be avoided at all costs.

However, the reality is that there are good fats and oils and bad fats and oils and each are needed in certain amounts to maintain good health.

When it comes to essential fatty acids such as Omega 3s found in fish oils, a large part of the population is missing the proper levels. Incidentally, when it comes to levels of bad fats, such as saturated and trans fats, the majority of the population is too high.

Essentials

Essential fatty acids found in Omega 3 fish oils are referred to as essential because they're not produced by the body and must be added to the diet. However, even if one eats sources of these fatty acids, such as salmon or mackerel, on a daily basis, it can still be quite difficult to obtain necessary levels of DHA and EPA. This is why so many opt instead to take a quality daily supplement that offers concentrated amounts of Omega 3s.
