Can you add fish oil, from fish oil vitamins, to your cat's food for extra nutrition? (Answers: 8) (Comments: 0)

I have a 20 year old Persian and 2 other cats. I just thought of it the other day and squeezed a little fish oil in their food. I poked one of my capsules and squeezed it into their food and stirred. I thought the extra vitamins and other benefits of fish oil may help with my elderly Persian. The cats seem to love it, but I thought I'd ask anyone with experience if this is a good idea. I've done it twice, but would like to know if it is OK to add to food. I appreciate your help and advice. Thank you!

My aunt lost 27 pounds in 4 months taking cider vinager and fish oil vitamins after each meal because they made her energized so she exercised. Are they really healthy? She said she is going to give some to me and I want to be sure I'm making the right choice.

I have been taking fish oil for several months now. I have been told by my doc it can be very beneficial. But after taking it it tastes fishy. Not my favorite taste for the morning. Does this happen to anyone else?
